It’s an exciting time to join System C as a Clinical Transformation Specialist within our Clinical Services Division. We are a newly formed department with a team of clinical professionals ranging from product, operations, safety and engagement. We are passionate about Healthcare IT and improving efficiency and the experience of healthcare professional through our IT systems and software.  

We are looking for passionate individuals, with a clinical background, who will work with customers to provide clinical engagement, project support and planning, and product best practise. You will be detail-orientated, dependable, a problem solver and a good communicator.  

You will be skilled in working collaboratively with multiple NHS Trusts and co-ordinating clinical expertise aligning to local, regional and national strategies and guidance. There are three main areas of responsibility in this role: act as clinical representative for specific customer accounts; provide consultative services to support clinical transformation and HIMSS accreditation for allocated customer accounts; provide broader clinical engagement across both our external & internal clinical communities.  

The Role  

This role combines an experience of patient care and change management, with an understanding of informatics, to promote safe, effective, and efficient use of health IT in clinical settings. Using patient journey and clinician workflow mapping, you will support customers to develop and maintain standards of care by combining use of healthcare IT with evidence-based practice.  

The successful postholder will lead by example to create best practice, be dynamic and dedicated. The post will be predominately working from home but there is an expectation of site travel and in person monthly team meetings.  

Responsibilities  

  • Use your clinical experience, healthcare knowledge, experience of clinical transformation and knowledge of our software to provide considered solutions to customer and business problems
  • You will act as the clinical account representative. This will involve building relationships and working alongside the CCIOs, CNIO and senior clinicians of customers through the lifetime of their project
  • You will be part of a team delivering our new Healthcare Information and Management Systems and Society (HIMSS) Programme
  • Anticipate and address budgetary, environmental, and technological requirements while adhering to the strategically agreed operating model
  • Use KPIs and metrics to measure clinical adoption and patient outcome improvements and collaborate with customers and stakeholder colleagues

Experience and Skills  

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy navigating clients through the digital transformation journey, supporting them through change management, and providing healthcare checks on how the transformation is embedding.  

  • Understanding the impact of evolving patient care delivery models, hospital operations, and healthcare finance have on the electronic patient records (EPR)
  • Demonstrated change management experience in a health care setting
  • Practical experience of being a key member of a transformative clinical IT transformation programme
  • Experience of progressing a healthcare organisation’s digital maturity
  • Clinical qualifications and experience of working in the acute NHS sector as a clinician
