Description
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to forecast future opportunities and assess risks, ensuring accurate funnel bookings and revenue planning.
- Produce budgets and variance analyses for monthly management accounts with precision and timeliness.
- Record and analyze actual bookings, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Assist Account Managers with financial modeling and scenario analysis for upsell opportunities.
- Provide financial support during contract negotiations, ensuring customer liaisons are financially sound.
- Approve quotes and participate in Deal Desk meetings as required.
- Maintain and update contract finance schedules, including pricing tables and finance models.
- Support the Revenue and Contracts team in analyzing customer contracts and financial positions.
- Work with Legal and Sales teams to ensure the accuracy of contract/CCN processes and financial records.
- Offer insights and feedback to enhance the sales quoting process.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing new bids and pre-sales opportunities.
- Calculate and maintain commission models, including framework commission modeling and payment calculations.
- Lead or participate in CRM system projects as needed.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a commercial role.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or a strong background in management accounting.
- Proven experience in management reporting and handling budget and forecast processes in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely at all levels.
- Strong decision-making abilities and a commercial-focused mindset.
- Enthusiastic about embracing new methodologies and continuous improvement.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
- Exceptional task management skills to handle competing priorities effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong finance system skills.
