About the Role:

As a Credit Controller at System C, you will be integral to managing our cash collection processes. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving cash generation. You will be responsible for optimising working capital levels, meeting cash collection targets, and shaping our credit control procedures to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Engage with customers proactively to confirm receipt and processing of sales invoices.
Chase overdue debts in line with the credit control chase cycle, maintaining comprehensive records of all communications.
Reconcile daily cash receipts, including foreign currency transactions.
Provide monthly cash collection forecasts and contribute to cashflow forecasting.
Report risks and opportunities related to cash collection, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
Prepare detailed monthly accounts receivable reports for senior management.
Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to support effective debt collection.
Maintain up-to-date credit control process documentation and assist in process improvements.

Skills and Experience:

Significant experience in Credit Control.
Experience with shared service centres is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains would be advantageous.
Excel skills.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to influence and improve processes.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience.
