Purpose of the Role:

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights? Join our dynamic finance team at System C as an FP&A Data Analyst. This role is pivotal in supporting the business reporting requirements across all finance applications. You will play a key role in analysing, extracting, cleansing, manipulating, and reporting data. Your efforts will not only support the finance team but also enhance data processes and integration across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business reports and financial models to support the finance function.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues, collaborating with external software suppliers when necessary.
  • Translate complex data sets into easily understandable information or dashboards.
  • Manage and monitor databases, ensuring user setup and application security.
  • Ensure data integrity by creating processes, system rules, and validation checks.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems to share best practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with various departments to enhance data integration with finance systems.
  • Assist management in prioritising business and information needs.
  • Participate in data migration projects for new system implementations and special projects. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field (relevant experience will also be considered).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI.
  • Exposure to SQL or other programming languages is beneficial.
  • Previous experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably with financial systems, or experience in installing, configuring, documenting, testing, implementing, and training new applications and systems.
