Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a talented and motivated experienced Product Specialist to join our Presales Team as a Social Care and Finance Product Specialist.

The Presales Product Specialist will engage with customers and colleagues to understand their business requirements and persuasively articulate our software solutions to maximise our efforts to sell our social care and education products to local governments.

The successful candidate will use their extensive domain knowledge of the Social Care and Education Management sector to provide specialist support to the sales team. The Presales Product Specialist will deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and current customers, write professional high-quality tender responses, advise customers on new modules, and raise product development requests.

Duties

  • Provide specialist support to the sales team, based on knowledge of the social care Finance and/or Social Care domains.
  • Support the sales team with the preparation of bids and with demonstrations of Liquidlogic Finance or Social Care products and associated portals.
  • Write functional bid answers.
  • Work with colleagues to help define/refine sales messages.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure that customer requirements and market trends are communicated internally.
  • Develop personal knowledge of company products to ensure ability to demonstrate latest functionality adequately.
  • Assist customers in assessing how Liquidlogic software can be tailored to match their service needs.
  • Assist customers to convert this to configuration settings within Liquidlogic systems.
  • To take responsibility for preparing and configuring Liquidlogic products to meet sales demonstration requirements.
  • To answer queries from customers.
  • Contribute to internal meetings.
  • Contribute to the bid answers library.
  • Ad hoc activities as required by the Presales Manager.

Person Specification

  • Experience within presales in a customer facing role.
  • Experience within the social care finance sector is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage a complex workload, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Confident, persuasive, and credible in a sales context.
  • Must exercise good commercial judgment to protect the company’s interests, in written formats (for example: bids) and in dialogue with customers.
  • Strong ICT skills.
  • Excels at establishing and building meaningful relationships externally.
  • Success in establishing and building appropriate relationships internally.
  • Self-motivated/good organisational skills.
  • To work as part of a team for the overall benefit of the business.
  • To work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to recognise, analyse and solve issues.
  • Will be required to occasionally travel and stay overnight, to carry out the role effectively.
  • This is a hybrid role, working from the Leeds office 2-3 days per week and home working, but you may in addition, be required to visit the office in Leeds occasionally for meetings.
  • To always represent the Company appropriately.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
